Early Work

After graduating from Birmingham's School of Jewellery Lauren continued to use shibori in her jewellery making. These handsewn, multi-coloured fabric fragments set into jewellery resembled gemstones. 

Shibori is a technique used for shaping textiles and adding texture. The process leaves a 'memory on cloth'.
